About

Hi there! Welcome to BlogFeather. My name’s Caozhe Bao. I was born and raised in Anhui, a land crossed by the Yangtze and Huai Rivers, where Hui culture and layered local perspectives first shaped how I see the world. I am currently a student majoring in biological sciences at Sichuan University, based in Chengdu.

This blog is my quiet space for sustained observation and reasoned inquiry. I write across two broad fields: I unpack current affairs and social phenomena, tracing the hidden logic beneath surface events; I also follow and analyse advances in technology, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and the life sciences. I do not chase hot takes or quick, sensational conclusions. Instead, I value slow reading, cross‑referenced facts, and independent thinking, to examine how structures, narratives, emerging technologies and individual lives intersect in our times.

My perspective carries the mark of two places: the rooted, subtle sensibilities from my hometown, and the wider, diverse conversations I encounter during my studies. Writing here is an exercise to clarify my own thoughts, record arguments and observations worth preserving, and invite calm, respectful dialogue with readers who care about understanding the world more deeply.

Some may argue that, as a STEM student, I shouldn’t put too much effort into thinking about social issues and technological fields that aren’t my major. However, I believe breakthroughs in AI and the life sciences never exist in a vacuum. Every technical choice carries social weight; every new tool reshapes norms, power structures and ordinary people’s lives. Separating technical knowledge from its human context only gives us an incomplete, narrow understanding of progress. This blog is where I bridge those domains to think across boundaries, ask hard questions, and observe how science, technology and society constantly shape one another.

All views expressed are my personal reflections, separate from any institutional stance. If you find resonance, disagreement, or questions within these pages, you are welcome to comment or to get in touch.
