Hello, world!
The first post on this blog, and what I hope to write here.
Every blog has to start somewhere. This is mine. I have wanted to keep a public notebook for a while. The internet is full of writing, and I do not pretend this will be read by many people, or that it needs to be. The point is to have a place where I can put down what I am thinking about, check my reasoning against the page, and look back at it later. Some things are easier to work out when they are written down. The name of this site is BlogFeather, and the tagline says that your view also matters. That is the idea in short: I write about what I find interesting, whether that is current affairs, social questions, or advances in science and technology, and I try to keep an open mind, knowing that my view is only one among many. I do not know yet how often I will post, or what this place will turn into. That is fine. It is a beginning. Thanks for stopping by.
